The second stage of the Copa Fla Rio featured 12 Flamengo School units and 45 teams.
The competition is back in full force after the success of the first festival; the final games will be held in Gávea
By Flamengo School - inFollowing the success of the first festival, the Copa Fla Rio returned for its second edition last weekend. With 12 units and over 550 students, the competition returned with a vengeance.

There were 45 teams divided into the under-7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 categories. The tournament was divided into two days, with 84 matches, and held at CasaShopping, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Now, the teams are preparing for the final festival of the competition. The final matches will be held in Gávea, and the dates will be announced soon.
The Copa Fla wasn't just about soccer. In addition to the matches, which were attended by Waltinho, Flamengo's technical observer, and Junior Mathura, Flamengo's technical observer, those attending the competition were able to participate in a dance class and access the official Flamengo store.
Anyone who thought the Copa Fla Rio was just for students is mistaken: during the competition, there were challenges with parents, earning special prizes. Partnerships with local restaurants Mamma Jamma, Cerdo, and Garage Burger guaranteed a super discount for everyone in the tournament.
The under-9 games had a surprising turnout. Flamengo defender Pablo came to support his son, Kaíque, from the Flamengo Barra School. The Mengão defender exuded charisma and greeted all the children, giving photos and signing autographs.

The more than 1.800 people who enjoyed the tournament over the weekend were also able to enjoy an inflatable park that brought fun to everyone.
The Fla Cup had as its grand champion the Flamengo Éden unit, once again, which won two of the six categories and was runner-up in two others.
