Flamengo has a new major partner for the Jogaremos Juntos program! Shell has contributed funds through the Federal Sports Incentive Law to the club's project, which will run until December of this year.

"Jogaremos Juntos has its own methodology, called 'Race, Love and Passion', based on socio-emotional skills, which works on competencies such as self-knowledge, resilience, perseverance and companionship, that is, life skills, together with children and young people from socially vulnerable contexts," said Angela Machado, Director of Social Responsibility at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.

The goal of Jogaremos Juntos is to contribute to the academic performance, civic development, and interpersonal relationships of children and young people from socially vulnerable backgrounds. The project also supports families and teachers in dialogue and conflict resolution and promotes quality of life and the development of socio-emotional skills, such as self-awareness, resilience, and perseverance, for children and young people from peripheral communities and socially vulnerable backgrounds.

"We want to consolidate Clube de Regatas do Flamengo as a socially responsible institution, capable of bringing about significant transformations in society, and now we have received this important incentive from a giant like Shell. We know our power to contribute to the development of athletes and citizens, and this is, without a doubt, one of our main daily goals," said Gustavo Oliveira, Flamengo's vice president of Communications and Marketing.

The project encompasses five sports - basketball, football, artistic gymnastics, judo and volleyball - for more than 500 young people and children.
