Last Thursday (5), Starter, in partnership with Flamengo, launched the 2023/24 summer collection. With pieces that connect the brand's traditional streetwear style with the beauties of the “Marvelous City”.

The line consists of 70 items licensed by the brand. Featuring new products, it also includes shirts, tank tops, shorts, and accessories, including caps, shoulder bags, and fanny packs.

The launch is the second in a complete collection resulting from the collaboration, and follows the successful initial line, launched in May of this year. For summer, Starter invested even more in the knitwear used in the pieces, providing greater comfort and lightness, and gave greater emphasis to the women's line, with more new items.

"Our new Flamengo collection is incredible, packed with new items for fans. At the request of our retailers, we've expanded our women's line, expanding it. There are more products for women, all with a Brazilian touch, perfect for summer," explains Roberta Russo, head of product at Starter Brasil.

"Throughout the collection, we've created a unique, shorter cut and lighter prints, as well as our special knitwear, which is very lightweight for hot days. All of this will deliver even more comfortable products for our customers," adds Roberta.

Success of the partnership with Flamengo

Starter brought street style together with Brazil's biggest fan base. Flamengo was the first club in the country to partner with the brand for a complete collection, recapturing its sporty DNA from over 50 years of history.

The company is also licensed by major North American leagues, such as the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB, and is represented in the country by NTK Grupo Têxtil.

"The agreement between Starter and Flamengo plays an important role for the brand. The partnership increases Starter's visibility and recognition in Brazil, as we're talking about a popular sport in the country and the club with the largest fan base. We received excellent feedback from fans and retailers, intensified our research on this audience, and the result is the incredible summer collection we launched," concluded Paulo Maiera, director of NTK Grupo Têxtil.
