This week, Flamengo's financial work was recognized again. The Club's Treasury Department won the Prisma Innovation Award, granted by Datanomik, a company specializing in corporate treasury solutions, in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Treasury (IBTC). The award recognizes treasury departments that drive innovation and generate strategic impact for companies.
Flamengo faced competitors from large publicly traded companies in the construction, energy, and travel industries. The Mais Querido's distinguishing features, which enabled it to win the award, were the control and detail of information used to manage the club's cash flow.
"I'm very proud of our team. It's a result of what we see in our daily lives: the hard work and dedication of this team. Our goal every day is to maintain the excellence that the biggest club in Latin America demands, and it's very gratifying to receive this recognition from the market," said Fernando Góes, Flamengo's Executive Director of Finance.
The ceremony was held at Datanomik headquarters and was attended by Gabriela Coelho, José Andrade Júnior and Renato Blaute, who form the Club's Treasury team.
