Traditional "Boca Maldita" space is reopened at the Gávea headquarters
Member gathering place celebrates 40 years of existence in 2024
By Communication - Flamengo - inIn the year that marks its four decades of existence, the Boca Maldita space, on Alameda Paissandu, at the Gávea social headquarters, underwent a renovation that renewed the entire place. With more space for the club's members to socialize and a new kitchen, Boca Maldita received, on the morning of this Saturday (16), dozens of members, directors and former presidents of Flamengo to celebrate the news with the traditional snack always prepared with great care by the illustrious red-black Toninha.

"When we took over management, we committed to making many improvements to the club. This was one of them. After almost 40 years of Boca Maldita, it needed a little renovation (laughs). I'm very grateful for the tireless support of the team here at Boca Maldita. On each of the club's anniversary, as well as on several other important dates for us, I thank Fla-Gávea and everyone who contributed in some way to making this happen," said president Rodolfo Landim, before singing Flamengo's popular anthem with the others present, including the very special presence of George Helal, one of the greatest leaders in the club's history, after whom the Football Training Center is named.

Considered a reference point for members, athletes and fans, Boca Maldita earned the nicknamethe then Vice President of Football Ivan Drumond, observing thatue a group of members and advisors met frequently at the location to discuss the club's news and events.
