Flamengo and Volta Redonda Broadcast

After celebrating the success of another full broadcast of our professional soccer team's game on FlaTV, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo would like to thank the nearly 100.000 fans who paid for tickets to watch the game on the MyCujoo platform.

However, the system was overloaded, and thousands of fans who tried to complete the purchase of the game were unable to do so. It was impossible to meet the enormous demand that built up in the hours leading up to the game, especially among people located in Brazil.

Even with the problem that occurred - which resulted in a significant reduction in potential revenue for Flamengo - our Club raised just over 1 million reais from the sale, showing that this is an important model for Brazilian clubs.

It's another opportunity for fans to directly participate in strengthening our team, increasing our ability to have a championship-winning squad.

Due to the aforementioned problem, and the frustration of hundreds of thousands of fans who were unable to make the purchase, Flamengo's board of directors decided to broadcast the game's image on FlaTV, and on the club's YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter profiles.

As a result, some red-and-black fans who had paid R$10,00 to watch the game, despite having received good service and full access to the match, may end up feeling uncomfortable with the Club.

For them, Flamengo informs that the amount paid (R$ 10,00) can be refunded, within seven calendar days after purchase, upon request through the customer service channels of our fan membership program:

We just want to remind you that this returned money will be completely deducted from the amount that Flamengo will receive for the game, thus reducing the club's income for new investments.
