Vale is Flamengo's new partner in women's football
The company contributed resources, via the Federal Sports Incentive Law, to the club's formation project
By Flamengo Communication - inWomen's soccer has a new partner for its youth teams! Vale has contributed funds through the Federal Sports Incentive Law to the project, which will run until December 2023.
One of the pillars of the club's development, the Flamengo youth academy was established in 2019 and, since then, has consistently included athletes called up to youth national teams and integrated into the professional squad. The agreement will also benefit young women involved in social projects by expanding the network of partner centers, providing training kits, initiatives, and visits. The idea is to foster greater integration with Mais Querido professionals. Recently, for example, Flamengo competed in the U-14 Development League with a selection of girls from these projects.
"We are very pleased to close this agreement with Vale, another major company joining forces with Flamengo to further strengthen sports in Brazil. We are certain that this partnership will be important for us to invest even more in women's soccer, starting at the youth level. Flamengo and Vale will work together to support the development of new athletes," said Gustavo Oliveira, Flamengo's Vice President of Communications and Marketing.

Supporting projects like Flamengo's women's youth soccer program, which align with our policies and guidelines, regardless of the club or institution, is extremely rewarding. Our desire is for sport to increasingly become a tool for transformation, and for us, it is a real accomplishment to be able to contribute to quality projects like this," says Pamella De-Cnop, executive director of the Vale Foundation.
"This is another important step in women's soccer. Since 2019, the youth academy has been a pillar of our project, as we follow the motto 'Flamengo makes stars at home.' Vale's arrival to directly contribute to our development shows that this is the right path. We want to continue developing players with the club's DNA," said Vitor Zanelli, Flamengo's vice president of Women's Soccer, Youth, and Futsal.
From now on, the Mantles used by the youth teams will have the brand displayed below the number.
