On May 30th and June 1st, the Amadeu Teixeira Sports Arena, in Manaus (AM), will host the Brazilian Junior Judo Championship.

The competition, which is a qualifier for the National Selection that aims to form the Brazilian team that will compete in the World Championship in the category, will have two representatives from CRFlamengo.

Brothers Osvaldo and Anderson Pereira are ready to fight, literally, for a spot in their respective weight classes: welterweight and lightweight.

For the coach of the Brazilian junior team, Henrique Guimarães, this Brazilian Championship will be one of the most balanced and competitive in recent years.

Next, the judokas will compete in the National Selection for the World Championships, which will be held in October in Thailand. To determine Brazil's representatives at the World Championships, the judoka who becomes the Brazilian champion will face (best-of-three matches) the current junior national team champion.
