Her life has been and is completely dedicated to judo. She has spent 20 years breathing the sport on and off the mats. Rosicléia Campos, a former Olympic athlete for CR Flamengo and current coach of the Flamengo dojo and the Brazilian women's judo team, never tires of the hustle and bustle she endures to keep up with her training.

Rosi, as she is affectionately known by her teams, has already participated in two Olympics (Barcelona-1992 and Atlanta-1996), in addition to accumulating a considerable number of state, national and international titles, and is considered the great reference in women's judo.

The coach leads the 14 judokas currently on the Brazilian women's national team. The group led by the red-and-black athlete recently won nine medals at the Golden Judogi Tournament in Havana, Cuba.

This Friday (May 4th), Rosicléia heads to Belo Horizonte (MG), where she will lead the women's class fights at the Judo World Cup. Afterwards, she and the other members of the select group of judokas will participate in the international field training, also in the city of Minas Gerais.
