On the first day of the Brazilian Judo Trophy, held in Belo Horizonte, Mengão shone on the mat, winning two medals. Rafaela Batista and Silva, from FlaJudô, shone on the podium. After winning Olympic bronze, Rafaela Silva, in her first official competition in the under-63 kg category, won every match and, as usual, took home the gold medal. Rafaela Batista's trajectory is no different: the world champion's namesake also moved up a category and, in her first appearance in the under-57 kg category, secured the bronze medal.

Now, Flamengo is preparing for the second day of competition at the Brazilian Judo Trophy. On Sunday, the UniBH Arena will host the National Grand Prix, a thrilling team competition. Expectations are high, and Flamengo's athletes are ready to give their best.
