Flamengo's Judo Championship closes with more medals at Arena 1
The Under-13 and Under-15 categories were presented this Sunday
By Roberta Pinto - inAnother day of medals for the red-and-black judo team. The young prospects in Mengão's U-13 and U-15 categories achieved strong finishes on the second day of the State Championship, held at Arena Carioca 1 in the Parque Olimpico da Barra.
Under the watchful eyes of coach Marcão and coordinator Rosicleia Campos, Flamengo won another 12 medals, four gold, four silver and four bronze.
"The outcome of this competition was more than positive. From the youngest to the senior categories, Flamengo was always among the top finishers," said Rosicleia, praising the athletes who participated in this State Championship.
"The dedication, assiduity, and commitment of all the athletes in training resulted in excellent performances. Even those who didn't make it to the podium performed well," he concluded.
