Flamengo proved its strength in national judo by being highlighted in the Brazilian Master Judo Championship, held last Saturday (17/11), at the Mauro Pinheiro Sports Gymnasium, Ibirapuera, São Paulo.

Judokas Graciela Klachquim (lightweight), Hamilton Correa (lightweight), Efraim (lightweight), Francisco (lightweight) and Alberto Nogueira (lightweight) secured the highest place on the podium by winning first place in their respective weight categories.

Ormindo Gomes (lightweight) secured the silver medal and Ezio Nóbrega the bronze. Alberto Nogueira also shone in the open weight category, taking first place.
