CRFlamengo judoka Leonardo Leite has a new challenge ahead. The athlete heads to Montreal, Canada, next Tuesday (May 22nd), where he will participate in the Senior Pan American Judo Championships, which will be held between May 05rd and 23th.

Leonardo is considered one of the top judokas in the red-and-black dojo. He recently competed for a starting spot on the Brazilian national team in the light heavyweight category (-100kg), but ended up being a reserve for the Rio 2007 Pan American Games.

In addition to the judoka, Rosicléia Campos, coach of Flamengo and the women's team, will also be traveling to Montreal.

The return of Brazilians is scheduled for May 30th.
