The FlaJudô team is participating in another international tournament. Rafaela Silva and Marcelo Gomes will represent Brazil at the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend, from March 7th to 9th. The competition, which will take place in Linz, will bring together approximately 420 athletes from 52 countries.

 

Rafaela Silva, Olympic and world champion, recently debuted in the up to 63kg category, winning the Brazilian Judo Trophy title in November 2024. In 2025, Rafa competed in two Grand Slams. Marcelo Gomes, a standout in the up to 90kg category, arrives buoyed by the silver medal won at the Baku Grand Slam last month, solidifying his position on the international stage. Rafaela will fight on Saturday (9), while Marcelo will be in action on Sunday (10).
