The judokas who make up the Brazilian national judo team will have the opportunity to visit the venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in person. The World Team Judo Championships will be held in Beijing, China, on November 17 and 18.

The Brazilian team will feature Leonardo Leite, a reserve in the light heavyweight category (-100kg) at the Rio 2007 Pan American Games. Leonardo is the only judoka from CRFlamengo who still has the dream of representing Brazil in Beijing.

In addition to the World Championships, Brazilians will participate in a test event at the same venue where the judo matches will be held at the 2008 Olympic Games.
