Rubro-negros participate in field training of the Brazilian Judo Team
By Roberta Pinto - inThe red-black judokas Eliza Ramos and Maria Eduarda Diniz, in addition to the coach Rosicleia Campos, were called up this Thursday (21) by the Brazilian Judo Confederation. They will embark next Monday (25.01) for Pindamonhangaba, in the interior of São Paulo, where they will participate in another field training of the Brazilian Judo Team, which will be held between January 25th and February 03rd.
Newly added to Flamengo's team, judoka Duda Diniz was called up by the CBJ to participate in field training and support the Brazilian women's team. Despite being in her first year in the U-21 category, Duda already has experience in international training and events, having won the 2019 Student World Championship and a medal in the International Youth Circuit.
Head coach of the red-black judo team and technical coordinator of the Brazilian women's team, Rosicleia Campos is also accompanying the national delegation in the city of São Paulo.
"It's an honor to be part of this group. It's going to be excellent training. The whole team will have enough time to prepare for the first major challenge of the year, the Tel Aviv Grand Slam, at the end of February, in Israel," commented the red-and-black coach.
The judo teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Estácio, AmBev, Rede D'or – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR) and the State Incentive Law/State Secretariat of Sport, Leisure and Youth (Seelje) of Rio de Janeiro, in addition to support from the Brazilian Committee of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
