On Saturday morning (14.12/1), Flamengo's senior synchronized swimmer Camila Ururahy won two medals in the King and Queen of the Sea competition on Copacabana Beach. In addition to her two medals for participating in the competition, Camila won two silver medals in the 2km Sprint and 10km Classic events. In the Sprint, she finished 183th overall among 20 participants and second in the 24-14 age category. In the Classic, she finished 153th overall and second in her category among XNUMX competitors.
Camila has been training at the club for 13 years and participated in the competition out of love for the sport.
"I participate in the King and Queen because I like swimming in the open water. So, I asked our Flamengo coach to do some specific training the week before the event. But I swim without pretense, I swim for pleasure, because I really enjoy it," said Camila.
