Red-and-black synchronized swimmer Beatriz Regly placed fourth in the floor event at the 2014 Pan American Festival in Mexico City, held from September 27 to 29. The championship brought together athletes from the Junior category and Beatriz represented the Brazilian National Team in the event.
Bia also placed third overall in the technical competition, the figures event, beating out the favorite athletes from Mexico and Canada. The red-and-black athlete was praised by coach Roberta Perillier, who commented on the choreography event. "Beatriz was behind the girls who passed the figures event, but she swam very well," she said.
The athlete is expected to compete again with the red-black team in the Brazilian Junior and Senior Championship, from November 27th to 29th, in São Paulo.
