Flamengo's artistic swimming continues to shine in the South American Junior and Youth Championships, which are being held in Lima, Peru.

Representing Brazil and the nation, the junior duo of Jaddy Portella and Jullia Catharino delivered stunning performances in both the free and technical routines, giving their opponents no chance. They won the gold medal with a total score of 149.130. The Colombian duo placed second, and the Argentine duo third.

Fellow Flamengo fans Giovana Faria and Ana Clara Almeida were part of the Brazilian team that won the South American youth championship. It's worth noting that Ana Clara had already won silver in the youth floor event.

The two return to the pool this morning to fight for a medal in the youth duet.

The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Rede D'or, Coperalcool, Hoteis.com – via the Federal Sports Incentive Law/Special Sports Secretariat (SEESP), in addition to support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
