Swimmers compete in the Brazil Synchro Open

Flamengo has athletes defending the club and the Brazilian National Team

This Friday (April 10.04), Flamengo athletes will take to the water for Flamengo and the Brazilian National Team at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park in Barra da Tijuca for the Brazil Synchro Open. The fourth edition of the competition runs until Sunday (April 12.04) and features the participation of national teams and clubs. In addition to Brazil, Ukraine, Canada, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, China, Peru, and Venezuela are also registered for the competition. Flamengo will compete in four events: technical solo, free solo, technical team, and free team.

For the Red-Black team, the athletes Camila Ururahy, Maria Eduarda Wolf, Maria Eduarda Werneck, Daniella Figueiredo, Gabriella Figueiredo, Jessica Noutel, Aline Vieira, Júlia Campos, Luisa Sargete (reserves: Maithe Pedroni and Giovanna Bueno) swim. For the Brazilian team, the red-blacks Lorena Molinos, Maria Clara Lobo and Giovana Stephan will be swimming.

Entry is free, starting at 9am, and the Brazilian public will have their first contact with synchronized swimming choreography for the Rio-2016 Olympic Games.
