Last Saturday (3), Flamengo's aquatic sports management held an event to close out 2016, celebrating the excellent results of the entire synchronized swimming team. The athletes performed some of this year's choreographies, paid tribute to Chapecoense, taking the team's flag to the pool, and received commemorative plaques for more than 10 consecutive years defending the club's colors.

Aline Vieira, Camila Ururahy, Giovana Stephan, Jessica Noutel, Lorena Molinos, Maria Eduarda Werneck and Maria Eduarda Wolf also received affection and many compliments from coach Roberta Perillier.
"As a coach, I had the joy, luck, and honor of welcoming a group of little girls, because when they arrived they were eight, nine, ten years old. All beautiful, full of energy and dreams... With them, I built my story as a coach. In fact, much of my life story too. I will hold them all in my heart forever and I still get emotional at every competition. This year, busy with work, after all, they are now women, still beautiful, full of energy and dreams, I made a request: 'Will we win this Brazilian Championship? I really want you to win this title!' And the answer was first place on the podium... They deserve more than a tribute; they are exemplary athletes and my inspiration forever," said Beta. remembering the recent conquest of the national tournament.
The synchronized swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo receive funding from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, and EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR). The renovation of the Gávea Olympic pool is supported by investments from Lafarge and Ambev via the State Sports Incentive Law/State Secretariat of Sports, Leisure and Youth (ICMS), in addition to funds from the Agnelo Piva Law/Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC).
