Flamengo fans Maria Eduarda Micucci, Laura Micucci, and Lorena Molinos participated in an artistic swimming clinic on January 2nd and 3rd at Esporte Clube Cabo Branco in João Pessoa. The event served to promote an exchange of experiences between the athletes from Flamengo and the Paraíba club.
"It was really cool; it's always great to be able to share some of our experience with girls just starting out in artistic swimming. We tried to teach them the mechanics of the lift, some basic positions, and the paddle stroke," said Lorena Molinos.
Flamengo's artistic swimming teams will return to training in Gávea on January 21st to prepare for the 2020 season competitions.
The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
