Last weekend, Flamengo's senior synchronized swimmer Camila Ururahy took first place in the Light King and Queen of the Sea Circuit, held on the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema, and Arpoador. Camila won her category, the 25-30 age group.

"I've been swimming in the open water for four years. I asked my coach to create a series for me and I trained for a week and a half. In my category there were 210 competitors and, in the overall ranking, I finished tenth," he said. 

In December 2013, Camila had already won two silver medals in the King and Queen of the Sea, in the 1km Sprint and 2km Classic races.
