Starting this Thursday (10/9), Clube Náutico Atlético Cearense, in Fortaleza/CE, will be the stage for the Brazilian Synchronized Swimming Category Championship, better known as Brasileirão.

The competition will feature the participation of 14 national clubs and will have events in the categories Infantil A (beginner and level A), Infantil B (beginner, levels A and B), Juvenil (beginner, levels A and B), Junior (beginner levels B and A) and Senior (levels A and B).

In addition to the host Náutico, Flamengo, Tijuca Tênis, SESI, Remo, Corinthians, BNB Fortaleza, Vila Olímpica Ronaldo Marinho/PB, Jaraguá Country Club, Pio X/PB, Mesc/SP, AABB/PE, Distrito Federal and Contemporâneo/RN will be in the fight for the title of Brazilian champion.

This Brazilian Championship will mark Gláucia Heier's farewell. The red-and-black is packing her bags to travel to Las Vegas on the 16th, where she will spend a season with Cirque du Soleil. According to Roberta Périllier, CRF coach, the chances of winning the title are high. "This is the first time we've gone with both teams. Last year, Gabi and Dani, the synchronized swimming twins, won first place in the duet," she said confidently.
