At the last Brazilian Artistic Swimming Championships, held in early October, Flamengo competed with its Junior and Junior teams, securing second and third place, respectively. Now, the next challenge for the Flamengo athletes will be the South American Absolute Championship for the Brazilian National Team, which will take place from October 31st to November 4th in Lima, Peru. Giovana Stephan, Maria Clara Lobo, Lorena Molinos, Maria Eduarda Miccuci, Laura Miccuci, Júllia Catharino, Jaddy Portela, and Renan Alcântara, along with coach Roberta Perillier, are representing the Mais Querido in the international competition.

In conversation with the Official Website, Beta Perillier commented on expectations for the upcoming championships.

"We're preparing very closely for the Brazilian Championship, the most important competition we have until the end of the year. We consider the intermediate tournaments that take place beforehand, of course, but we use them as preparation to test our choreography, see how the judges evaluate it, and thus have time to change anything that didn't work, always focusing on the Brazilian Championship," said Beta, adding. "The goal is to enter all the competitions with full strength to seek more medals for Flamengo."
