In the qualifying rounds of the first day of the Junior World Synchronized Swimming Championships, this Wednesday (9/7), in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the Brazilians and red-blacks Lorena Molinos and Giovana Stephan finished in 14th place, with 41,650.

The home team secured the highest placing. The duo of Elena Ternovskaya and Anna Udovik took first place, scoring 47,650.

Next came the Japanese Yukito Inui and Mariko Sakai, with 46,300; and the Spanish Ona Carbonell and Margalida Crespi, with 46,100.

The Brazilian junior synchronized swimming team has eight red-and-black players:
