Brazilian team finishes 6th in the FINA synchronized swimming cup

Flamengo athletes made a difference and helped Brazil achieve an excellent result

The Brazilian synchronized swimming team, which includes six athletes from Flamengo, debuted this Thursday (16.09) in the 12th FINA Cup of the sport and finished the Combined Free Routine (Combo) event in sixth place. The competition is being held in the city of Changshu, China.

With the theme "Radio," the Brazilian team scored 86.100 points, beating the Ukrainians and finishing ahead of the Dutch team (seventh place with 85.200). Russia was the big favorite and secured first place (98.300), followed by the teams of China (97.200) and Canada (96.000).

In Brazil's last participation in the competition, in 2006, Combo finished in 8th place.
