Last Saturday (5.12), Flamengo's synchronized swimming girls won twelve gold medals at the State Category Championship, held at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park, in Rio de Janeiro. The red-and-blacks' campaign went according to plan, according to the coach of the Senior and Junior categories, Roberta Perillier. The highlight of the competition was the first place overall in the Senior category.

"It's wonderful to compete and win for my favorite club after fifteen years of being there. It's the reward for a lot of training and hard work with my teammates. This competition in particular was really cool because all the categories competed on the same day. We end up becoming an example for the kids, and this exchange of energy and desire to win unites our 'Flamília' even more. None of this would be possible without Roberta and our physical trainer Carlinhos," explained Camila Ururahy, from the professional team.
