Fla participates in Brazilian and Absolute State Championships
Expectation is to win gold medals and trophies

Flamengo will participate in two synchronized swimming competitions from October 18th to 20th. They are: the Brazilian Championship and the State Championship, in the Absolute category (for athletes aged 15 and over). Both competitions will take place at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park in Rio de Janeiro.
"In the State Championship, I think we're the strongest and most complete group. That's why I'm hoping Flamengo will be the champion," said Roberta Perillier, synchronized swimming coach at Mais Querido. "In the Brazilian Championship, we have a chance to win some gold medals," she concluded.
The national competition will feature approximately 60 athletes, with races taking place in the morning and afternoon. The participating clubs will be: Flamengo, Fluminense, Tijuca Tênis, Paineiras do Morumby, UTFP (Federal Technological University of Paraná), and BNB-Fortaleza. The duet competition features the duo that represented Brazil at the World Cup in Barcelona last July—Giovana Stephan and Lorena Molinos—from Mais Querido.
The events contested at the Brazilian Championships will be: Technical Solo and Free, Technical Duet and Free, Technical Team and Free, and COMBO (Combined Free Routine). Unlike the Olympic and Pan American Games, where the scores for the free and technical routines are combined, each event will have separate scores and awards, as is the case at the World Championships.
