This Monday (January 27.01) marks the start of training for the Brazilian Junior Synchronized Swimming Team for the World Championships in Finland in October. The national team will train in Rio de Janeiro for two weeks. The group's coach is Roberta Perillier, who also coaches Flamengo. Among the athletes are four Flamengo players: Luiza Muzbeck, Julia Saggese, Gabriela Regly, and Maria Clara Lobo.

"This group is made up of girls from Rio and São Paulo. They meet for training periods. Now, for example, it's for two weeks. Then, there's another meeting in March, and it goes on like this until the competition gets closer. Around September, we'll get together for longer. That's why preparation begins long before the World Cup," explained Roberta Perillier.

Red-and-black synchronized swimming returns to training

Last Friday (24.01), most of the sport's categories returned to training. The exception was the Children's category, which will return to training on February 03, with coach Marina Valadão.
