This Friday (27), Flamengo begins the dispute of the State Championship of Synchronized Swimming Categories and battles for medals in the pools of Tijuca Tênis Clube and UFRJ, in Rio de Janeiro.
The Most Beloved will participate in nine events in the Senior, Youth, and Junior categories. The events include: free mixed duet, junior solo level A, youth duet level A, senior technical solo, junior team level A, youth solo level A, technical mixed duet and youth team level A.
In the last competition held, Rubro-Negro came in second place overall in the Brazilian Interclub Synchronized Swimming Championship.
The synchronized swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
