Flamengo wins two gold medals in the Artistic Swimming Figures Tournament
Mais Querido won four medals last Saturday (22)
By Romulo Paranhos - inThe red-and-black artistic swimming teams won four medals in the Figures Tournament in the Children's and Youth categories, held last Saturday (22) in the Tijuca Tennis Club pools. Giovana de Faria, in the Beginner Children's category, and Ana Clara Almeida, in the Level A Children's category, were responsible for the Mais Querido's two gold medals. In the Level A Youth category, the red-and-black Jaddy Passos took silver, and in the Beginner Youth category, Ana Luiza Ferreira finished in third place with the bronze medal.

Marina Valadão, the red-and-black coach, assessed the tournament's achievements as positive and has already planned for the next competition.
"I thought our result was good. We won two gold medals with Giovana and Ana Clara, and two more medals, silver and bronze, with Jaddy and Ana Luiza. Now, we'll analyze what needs to be improved to make a strong showing at the Brazilian Interclub Championship, which starts this weekend," Marina analyzed.
The Brazilian Interclub Championship will be held between the 28th and 30th of September at Clube Paineiras do Morumby, in São Paulo.
The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
