Flamengo's artistic swimming team continues to collect medals in the 2017 season. Competing in the Brazilian Category Championship at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park in Rio de Janeiro, the Rubro-Negro team won three medals and will continue to fight for more victories in the coming days. The tournament began this Wednesday (15) and ends on Sunday (19).

In the Children's Level A category, Ana Clara Santos Almeida scored 59,0290 points and won silver. The Youth Level A event saw a one-two finish for the red-and-blacks. Julia Catharino took the title with 70,3111 points. Jaddy Milla Portela also took silver with 67,8833 points.

The competition continues this Thursday (16), with matches in the morning and afternoon at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park, starting at 8:30 am.

The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo volleyball teams rely on resources from their sponsors – Estácio, AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR) and the State Incentive Law/State Secretariat of Sports, Leisure and Youth (Seelje) of Rio de Janeiro, in addition to support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
