Friday (17) began with the dispute in the Women's Senior Technical Duet. Laura Micucci and Maria Clara Lobo made a beautiful presentation and won the first part of this dispute with 79.820 points. In second place was the Fluminense duo Maria Bruno and Luiza Borges, with 79.210 points and in third, also from Fluminense, Ana Giulia Velloso and Luiza Rodrigues (73.791 points).

Completing the classification of the first stage were the Paineiras duet in fourth place (Rafaela Geraldi and Gabriela Duarte with 70.279 points), the Mengão duet formed by Graziely dos Santos and Maria Luiza Fonseca in fifth place (63.692 points) and the Santa Mônica duo, sisters Gabriela and Giovanna Brassac, with 59.559 points in sixth place.

The scores obtained today are added to those of the Free Duet, which will take place on Sunday (19) and will define the champion pair.

In the second round, it was time for the Junior Technical Team category to compete. Just like in the duets competition, today's score is added to the scores in the free routine, tests that will be held this Saturday (18), to define the podium. The team that performed best in this first part was the Flamengo team formed by Ana Clara Santos, Eduarda Carrilho, Giovana Leal, Milla Passos, Julia Bouças, Luzia Fonseca, Manuella Batista and Grazielly dos Santos, with 70.762 points.

Paineiras came in second with 69.033 points. A score of 68.231 earned Tijuca Tênis Clube third place.

In the third phase of the day's competition, it was time for the Senior Mixed Technical Duet category. Gabi Regly and Bernardo dos Santos, athletes from Mengão, shone at the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park, thrilling the stands with a performance worth 73.608 points. The title, however, took almost two hours to be confirmed, as the Fluminense duo's scores were under review. The Tricolor duo failed to make a single mistake and ended up losing points in the final standings, finishing with 68.321.

"What a joy! We've been together for eight months, we train a lot, and our connection outside the pool is also important. We have a great connection," said Bernardo.

“We have big goals together, to compete internationally, and we’re even rooting for Mixed Duet to be included among the Olympic categories,” said Gabi.

In the technical routine test, Flamengo's senior team also performed well. With a choreography that oozed energy, the red-and-black ensemble, made up of Gabi Regly, Jullia Catharino, Laura Miccuci, Lorena Molinos, Maria Clara Lobo, Vitoria Casale, Jaddy Milla, and Duda Miccuci, achieved the highest score: 77.019. Fluminense came in second with 72.581.

The competition runs until Sunday at Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park. This Friday, starting at 9 a.m., the women's technical duet, junior technical team, senior mixed duet, senior technical event, and junior technical solo will be contested.
