Flamengo competes in the Brazilian synchronized swimming championship
Youth and Senior teams embarked for Paraíba this Wednesday (26.08)

Flamengo's Youth and Senior synchronized swimming teams embarked for João Pessoa, in Paraíba, this Wednesday (26.08). The girls will represent the Most Beloved in the fourth edition of the Brazilian Synchronized Swimming Category Championship, the Brasileirão.
The Brasileirão competitions begin this Thursday (August 27.08) and run until Sunday of this week (August 30.08). The Youth team is the first to enter the water, on the first day of competition. The girls compete in the figure competition, in which the team presents mandatory movements of the sport for the referees, without the sport's characteristic sound accompaniment. Twins Daniella and Gabriella Figueiredo also enter the water this Thursday (August 27.08), representing the Gávea club in the Senior category technical duet.
The synchronized swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo receive funding from their sponsors—Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, and EY—via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), as well as support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) through the decentralization of resources from the Pelé Law. The renovation of the Gávea Olympic pool is supported by investments from Lafarge and Ambev via the State Sports Incentive Law/State Secretariat of Sports, Leisure, and Youth (ICMS), in addition to funds from the Agnelo Piva Law/Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC).
