With excellent participation from its entire team throughout the championship, Flamengo was crowned Brazilian Senior Champion (240 points) and Junior Champion (200 points).

Flamengo finished its participation in the Brazilian Artistic Swimming Championships, held at the Júlio de Lamare Aquatic Park in Rio de Janeiro, in excellent fashion. This Sunday, the final day of competition, the "Mais Querido" (Flamengo) won three medals: two silver medals, one each in the mixed duet and the junior women's duet. The gold medal went to the senior women's team.

"And here again, another stellar performance by our swimming team. It's led us to receive awards from the Brazilian club committee. Flamengo received the Oscar for Brazilian club sports and owes a great deal to artistic swimming, a sport with a long tradition within Flamengo and one in which we truly excel," said the Vice President of Olympic Sports after confirming the team's achievements.

On a sunny, hot Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, the Mengão duos put on a show. First, Ana Clara Santos and Luzia Galvez put on a great performance in the water, earning a score of 143.9839, taking second place in the Junior Women's Duet category, trailing only the Clube Paineiras do Morumby duo.

In another doubles competition, this time in the Junior Mixed Duet, Flamengo took second place on the podium with Eduarda Nascimento Carilho and Bernardo Barreto, earning a score of 64.0333.

The gold medal came in the senior women's team competition with an impressive and stunning performance. With a score of 80.8333 and a combined score of 157.3284, they were more than seven thousand points ahead of second-place Clube Paineiras do Morumby.
