Flamengo is the senior, junior and children's state champion in artistic swimming

Youth category takes runner-up position

The weekend was filled with artistic swimming at the Fadel Fadel Aquatic Park in Gávea. The senior, youth, junior, and children's categories competed for state titles in their respective categories.

In the senior category, Mais Querido was absolute and secured the trophy with 303 points, followed by Fluminense and Tijuca.

The youth team also showed its strength. Flamengo won the state title in the children's and junior divisions. In the youth division, they tied with Tijuca, who prevailed on tiebreakers.

"Once again, we witnessed a spectacular performance from our swimming team. We demonstrated that we're strong from the ground up and will develop future champions. Artistic swimming is a sport with a long tradition within Flamengo, and we truly excel. We ended the season with a flourish," said Vice President of Olympic Sports, Guilherme Kroll.

Sunday tests

Sunday's races featured beautiful performances that enchanted the packed stands at Gávea.

The senior team, formed by Laura Miccuci, Gabi Regly, Giovanna Faria, Luzia Galvez, Julia Catharino, Ana Clara Almeida, Vitoria Casale Jaddy Milla demonstrated solid choreography and won gold in the event. She scored 155.5630 points in the technical and freestyle combined. Flamengo's B team took bronze.

In the senior mixed duet, Bernardo Santos and Gabi Regly were the best with 76.7667. In the senior duet, Gabi Regly and Laura Miccuci won silver.

In the senior women's floor exercise, Jaddy Milla performed a very expressive choreography and gave her opponents no chance, winning with a score of 79.2667. In the men's exercise, Bernardo Santos shone once again, taking home the gold medal with a score of 73.533. Bernardo Barreto secured the bronze.

To close out the day, another red-and-black show at Highlight. With 80.000 points, the ten Flamengo athletes climbed to the top of the podium.
