Flamengo is featured in the 4th Brazil Synchro Open

Red-and-black athletes are second only to Argentina in the team competition

Flamengo once again demonstrated its Olympic prowess at the 4th Brazil Synchro Open. This Sunday (April 12.04), it was time for the team and free solo events in the competition, and Argentina won the free team competition with 81.366 points, followed by the red-and-black team (78.566), with the theme "Amazon Warriors." The Brazilian youth team finished third with 78.133 points (the main team is in the process of developing the team routine that will be presented at the Pan American Games in Toronto and the World Aquatics Championships in Kazan).  

The Brasil Open took place alongside the Brazilian Absolute Championship, where the Rubro-Negras reached the top spot on the podium. Flamengo won the gold medal, followed by Ciefe (Pará) and Federal Technological University (Paraná). Flamengo's team is made up of athletes Camila Ururahy, Maria Eduarda Wolf, Joseane Martins, Maria Eduarda Werneck, Daniella Figueiredo, Gabriella Figueiredo, Jessica Noutel, Aline Vieira, Júlia Campos, and Luisa Sargete (reserves: Maithe Pedroni and Giovanna Bueno). 

Earlier, in the floor routine, the red-black Maria Eduarda Wolf was runner-up in the event, in the Brazilian Championship, coming in behind Nayara Figueira from Clube Paineiras do Morumbi (São Paulo). 
 
In addition to Brazil, Ukraine, Canada, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, China, Peru, and Venezuela competed. Flamengo competed in four events: technical solo, free solo, technical team, and free team. For the Brazilian national team, the red-and-blacks Lorena Molinos, Maria Clara Lobo, and Giovana Stephan.
