The synchronized swimmers from Rio de Janeiro will compete this weekend in the State Championship with a strong medal prospect. A total of 14 athletes will represent the Gávea team in the children's, youth, and junior categories. The competition, which features five Rio de Janeiro clubs, will be held at the Naval Academy pool in downtown Rio.

Friday (October 14.10) and Saturday (October 15.10) mornings will be dedicated to the figure competitions, a technical analysis of the athletes. The choreography presentations begin at 13 p.m. and continue until 18 p.m., with solos and duets. On Sunday (October 16.10), in the morning, the team competitions will take place.
