Flamengo shone at the Brazilian Artistic Swimming Championships held at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park pool in Rio de Janeiro. On Sunday, the final day of competition, the "Mais Querido" (Flamengo) finished with a flourish, winning the free routine title in the Children's category, scoring 82,2667 points.
The tournament ended with Flamengo taking the top spot on the podium, winning the competition in the Senior category with 222 points overall. Among the Juniors, with 66 points, the "Mais Querido" team once again took the gold medal. Finally, the Junior team took bronze in the category with 48 points.
The synchronized swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
