The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo expresses its solidarity with the family of athlete Marcela Ramalho Pereira, who passed away this Saturday morning (29.06), in a car accident. The burial will take place at the São João Batista Cemetery, in Rio de Janeiro, at 16 pm this Sunday (30.06). 

Marcela was 22 years old and a distinguished athlete for Flamengo. Playing for the "Mais Querido" club, she was a five-time Brazilian champion and a source of great pride for the club, having grown up in Gávea and honored the sacred mantle like few others. She was also a member of the Brazilian youth and junior national teams from 2005 to 2008.
