Flamengo's artistic swimming coaches had the opportunity to receive instruction from the experienced Mônica Rosas. The former supervisor of the Brazilian National Team offered a refresher course for the club's coaches, as competitions will return to in-person competitions after the pandemic.

They form four days of clinical practice, lasting eight hours, divided into two shifts, with theoretical and practical parts.

"The idea behind this clinic was to invest in training our coaches. Mônica has extensive experience in national and international competitions and also in training athletes of different levels. This makes her clinic comprehensive, as she always offers advice, a 'tip of the trade', a differentiator for each category," analyzed the club's Artistic Sports coordinator, Roberta Perilier, the project's creator.

Technicians Jessica Noutel, Marina Valladão, Natalia Homero and intern Helena Longo participated in the clinic.

"It was a very rewarding experience. It's always great to learn from someone who knows, and in this case, it's a privilege to have the teachings of someone like Monica. She gave us a more specific perspective on developing the choreography," revealed Jessica Noutel, coach of the duo Maria Clara Lobo and Laura Miccuci.

The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
