The Brazilian Interclub Children's and Youth Synchronized Swimming Championship will begin this Thursday (5) and Flamengo continues in search of great achievements. With 16 athletes registered, Mais Querido will go to São Paulo and compete in the tournament at Clube Paineiras do Morumbi.

Under the command of coach Marina Valadão, Rubro-Negro embarks this week with Ana Clara Almeida, Emily Santos, Eduarda Carrilho, Leonora Jareta and Thamirys Conceição fighting for medals in the Children's category; in addition to Cinthya Kethlen, Graziely Miranda, Jaddy Portela, Jullia Catharino, Lohana Peçanha, Maria Clara Baroni, Maria Eduarda Ferreira, Maria Luiza Fonseca, Melissa Burgel and Manuella Batista in the Youth category.

For Roberta Perillier, team supervisor, expectations are high. "We hope to reach the podium in the team events in both categories. We believe it will be a great competition to prepare for the Brazilian Championship, which will take place in November here in Rio de Janeiro," she said.

The Flamengo athletes arrive in São Paulo this Wednesday, heading to training the following day. Starting Friday, Flamengo will begin solo, duet, and team competitions in all categories until Sunday.

The synchronized swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
