Gabriela Regly, a Flamengo fan, is reunited with the Brazilian Artistic Swimming Team at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park in Rio de Janeiro, where she continues her preparations for the South American Championships. The competition will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from March 31st to April 6th.

"Training is very intense, as our main objective is the South American Championship, which is very close. Therefore, we are training hard and with great intensity, usually two sessions a day, in addition to the strength training we are doing. Our focus is to win all the events in the competition, and for the first time this season, the 'highlight' will be introduced as a new routine event, a little shorter and more artistic, with more lifts and figures," Gabriela continued.

"This choreography, in particular, will be a significant challenge for us, as we've never performed it before. Furthermore, we need to be careful to comply with some mandatory rules and elements. Overall, I'm very excited about the start of the season and eager to compete, striving to achieve all of my goals for the year, both with the Brazilian National Team and with Flamengo," she concluded.

In addition to Gabi, Vitória Casale, Jaddy Portela, Jullia Catharino and Bernardo Santos are the other red-blacks who are participating in the training period with the national team.


The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
