Flamengo once again demonstrated its strength in synchronized swimming during the Latin Cup in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Last Saturday (May 22), the Brazilian duo formed by Flamengo twins Daniella and Gabriella Figueiredo secured the gold medal. With their strong performance in the water and the help of the Flamengo twins, Brazil finished second overall.

This was their debut in the Copa Latina. At just 17 years old, the duo has been delivering excellent results for Clube da Gávea in state, national, and international competitions.

"It was great to participate and win, especially because we are training for the Junior World Championships (FINA World Championships from August 9 to 15 in the United States). We will also be part of the adult team that will compete in the Italian Open (in Loano, from June 10 to 13)," said Gabriella.
