Daniella and Gabriella Figueiredo, the synchronized swimming twins of the red-and-black team, performed beautifully and enchanted the audience and the judges in yet another impeccable performance by the Brazilian duo.

This Wednesday (11.08) at the debut of the Junior World Synchronized Swimming Championships, in Indianapolis, United States, the duo finished their participation in the free routine heats in 15th place, with 78,820 points. In total, there were 23 duets performing. The best performance in the free duet routine was that of Russians Milena Miteva and Elena Prokofeva, with 91,170, followed by the duos from Ukraine (89,240) and Canada (88,330).

The top 12 finishers in each event compete in the final. Thus, the Brazilian twins still have a chance to move up and compete in the final if they are among the top 12.

The Brazilian team, which includes the red-blacks Daniella and Gabriella, Maria Eduarda Cavalcanti, Jessica Noutel and Aline Vieira, took 12th place with 81.170 points.

Twins Gabrielle and Danielle have been demonstrating their potential in national and international competitions for some time now. The red-and-black duo's latest major achievement was the gold medal at the Latin Cup in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
