The Brazilian Junior Artistic Swimming Team participated in the World Championships for this category, held from July 18th to 22nd in Budapest, Hungary. Brazil finished 13th in the team event. Jullia Catharino, a member of Mais Querido, spoke about the feeling of representing Brazil and Flamengo at the World Championships.

"For those of us who train intensely every day, it's very special and rewarding. Our goal is to constantly improve, striving for our best performance. At the World Cup, we had the opportunity to compete against teams from various countries and finish among the top 13. As a Flamengo player, it was an honor to represent the club in a championship of this magnitude," said Jullia.

Looking ahead to upcoming competitions, the red-and-black athlete comments on the possibility of winning medals.

"We'll be competing in the Pan American Games for the Brazilian Senior Team, and our goal is to fight for medals, even though we've only been training with the full team for a few days. We'll also have the South American Senior Championship and the Brazilian Club Championship coming up," the athlete concluded.

The other girls from Gávea who also participated in the Junior World Championship were Jaddy Passos and Laura Micucci.
