Larissa Cerutti wins silver at the Pan American Games in her categories
Maria Clara Lobo, another red-and-black athlete in the competition, competes today in the final of the Youth duet event

Yesterday afternoon (19.08), in Puerto Rico, Flamengo's Larissa Cerutti won the silver medal in the Junior combined routine event, at the Pan-American synchronized swimming tournament by categories. Maria Clara Lobo, another Flamengo athlete in the competition, finished the day in second place in the qualifying round of the Junior duet event and will compete in the final this Tuesday (20.08).
"Year after year, Flamengo has been reaffirming its leadership on the national stage. We are five-time Brazilian champions in the Absolute category and are on track for our sixth. Maria Clara and Larissa, standouts from the youth academy, represent the renewal of the work that has been going on for a long time," said Edson Terra, the Rubro-Negro's aquatics coordinator.
In addition to the two athletes, the club has a third representative at the Pan American Games in each category. This is Roberta Perillier, the coach who leads the Brazilian girls' youth team. The competition will conclude this Wednesday (August 21.08).
