LFlamengo's artistic swimmer, Aura Miccuci, is participating in a training period (from December 2nd to 13th) with the Brazilian National Team at Paineiras do Morumby club in São Paulo. The Flamengo fan, along with the national team coach, Andrea Curi, are defining the new choreography for the Brazilian Olympic duet.

A regular presence at the Brazilian National Team's call-ups, Laura explained how the new choreographies that will be used next season are being developed.

"We thought about using Japan as the theme for one of the choreographies, aiming to create a connection between East and West, as it would attract the public, since the pre-Olympics and the 2020 Olympics will be held in the country. The other has a "Brazilian roots" theme, where we use Sepultura's rock to create a strong and impactful song," said the red-and-black singer.

It's worth noting that Laura Miccuci secured a spot on the Brazilian Senior National Team through the National Trials for the sport, held in early December at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park in Rio de Janeiro. With her qualification, the red-and-black player will represent the national team throughout the 2020 season.
 

The artistic swimming teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – Banco Bonsucesso, Furnas, Estácio, LafargeHolcim/Cimento Mauá, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
