The Brazilian Synchronized Swimming delegation departed yesterday, July 14th (Tuesday), for the 07th World Aquatics Championships in Rome. The competition will take place from July 3th to July 13th at the Foro Italico sports complex. Of the 18 athletes representing the team, six are from Flamengo, including:
Camila Ururahy (Flamengo); Giovana Stephan (Flamengo); Glaucia Heier (Flamengo); Joseane Costa (Flamengo); Lorena Molinos (Flamengo); Michelle Frota (Flamengo); Branca Feres (TTC); Beatriz Feres (TTC); Lara Puglia (TTC); Pamela Nogueira (TTC); Maria Bruno (Fluminense) and Nayara Figueira (Paineiras).\ \ In the competition, the athletes will be evaluated in the floor, duet and team events. The themes of the team events are: Free Routine ("100 years of Japanese colonization in Brazil"); Technical Routine (India) and Combined Routine (Cowboy). The duet is represented by Lara Puglia and Nayara Figueira. In the floor, Giovana Stephan, a red-and-black athlete, will represent Brazil.\ \ \
